Teaching in Japan through the
JET Programme
The Embassy of Japan seeks Assistant Language Teachers for employment in Japan under the Japanese Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme
Attributes of the Incumbent

• Citizen of Trinidad and Tobago
• 40 years and under (as of April 1st, 2010)
• Excellent pronunciation, intonation and voice projection skills in the English Language
• Interested in the Japanese education system, particularly in the Japanese way of teaching foreign languages

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English Language and/or Linguistics
• Teaching experience would be an asset
