In December 2007 I returned to Barbados after successfully completing a Bachelor of Science degree course in Marketing at Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A, where I was the beneficiary of a volleyball scholarship for the preceding three (3) years.

I intend to continue studying towards a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree, with concentration on Marketing but decided to return to Barbados immediately on completion of my course of study because of a strong desire to use the knowledge and training which I have acquired for the benefit of Barbados. I am therefore offering myself for your consideration with respect to filling any vacancy in a company for which you may consider me suited. It is also my intention immediately to continue studying towards a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree, with a concentration in in Marketing.

My CV will show that before I attended Morgan State University I represented Barbados in volleyball first as member of the National junior team and later of the National Senior team. I toured Martinique and the Dominican Republic as a member of the National teams to those countries. Since I have returned to Barbados I have joined Deacons, a local volleyball club and I am currently again in training with the National Senior team for the upcoming Caribbean Volleyball Championship which is to be hosted by Barbados.

I am very much a results-oriented self starter but playing a team sport such as volley ball has made me acutely aware of tremendous wisdom and practical advantage of being a team-player. I believe that if given the opportunity I would be a distinct asset to your company since I would dedicate myself to a high level of performance at all times.
