My name is David Ramcharan.
I am currently 26 years old. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Science, from Southampton College of Long Island University, which I attained in 2006.

I worked at NIHERST from 2006 - 2009 as a Projects Officer at the institute's International Projects Department. During my time there, I maintained the website for NIHERST's partner organisation, the Caribbean Council for Science and Technology, while collecting information and contributing my scientific knowledge and writing skills to three of NIHERST's publications: Caribbean Icons in Science, Technology and Innovation Book II, Trinidad and Tobago Icons in Science and Technology Book II and The Contribution of Local Chinese to Science, Technology and Innovation. At the moment, however, I am currently available for employment.

I have an interest in writing, both creative and mundane, and a strong personal interest in fiction writing. This is where my strengths lie, and since my employment at NIHERST came to an end, I have considered myself to be, first and foremost, a writer.

Personality-wise, I am somewhat reserved but under normal working conditions, have rewarding, dynamic interactions with my co-workers. I am usually willing to offer insight, ideas and assistance whenever possible.
