INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (ITS) UNIT

MANAGER, IT SERVICE DELIVERY
Main Duties:

• Manage the acquisition, deployment, maintenance and retirement of end user devices including workstations, laptops, cell phones etc.
• Manage a Service Desk using internationally recognized best practices to log, assign and resolve if possible, IT service requests and problems reported by users.
• Maintain an up to date inventory of computer equipment in a CMDB and a knowledge base to facilitate queries.
• Monitor the ITS department's overall service delivery and analyse reported problems to determine areas requiring management's attention, training or active monitoring.
• Provide personnel management and professional development of assigned staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related discipline OR Associate's degree with experience in Service Desk Management.
• Relevant Certification e.g. ITIL Foundations, ITIL Professional, PMP, A+, MCP.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a supervisory/management role for an Information Technology Service Desk function or a Call Center.
• Project management experience.
• Candidates must also be customer focused, self directed and have excellent time management, organizational, leadership and management skills.

Any equivalent combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
