INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (ITS) UNIT

MANAGER, IT SECURITY & GOVERNANCE
Main Duties:

• Oversee the effective and efficient operation of the Project Office and the IT Project portfolio.
• Oversee the effective and efficient operation of a Security Office which maintains a security architecture and standards to ensure the security of information technology assets and access to network resources.
• Provide expert advice to the Strategic and Tactical IT Governance Teams, as required for decision making.
• Support the ITS management team as required to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Participate in the development, implementation and enhancement of project management best practices.
• Provide personnel management and professional development of assigned staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance or related discipline. A Master's Degree in Information Systems or an MBA will be an asset.
• 8-10 years' experience in: Managing enterprise level, multi-year projects.
• Certification in project and portfolio management e.g. PMP.
• Certification in IT Security e.g. CISSP, CISA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong Negotiation and Team Building skills.
• Good Presentation skills.

The incumbent will be expected to work non-standard hours and at any of the locations from which UTT delivers its service.

Any equivalent combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
An attractive remuneration package will be offered commensurate with qualifications and experience.
