EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED PERSONS FOR TEH FOLLOWING POSITIONS FOR THE PROJECT INTEGRATION TEAM IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS:

IT SPECIALIST (Systems Integration)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Designs, integrates and tests data transfer and storage systems.
2. Ensures and manages the utilization, maintenance, availability, security, integrity and access of the IT systems.
3. Recommend alternative solutions, raise project issues and risks, as well as quality and scope deviations.
4. Collects business requirements and develops IT solutions.
5. Evaluates existing equipment, applications and needs.
6. Represents the Ministry of Finance and develops professional relations at internal and external IT fora.
7. Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
The incumbent must be able to demonstrate:

1. A Bachelors Degree in an Information Technology related field from a recognized university.
2. Proven knowledge of Internet Technologies.
3. Working experience of not less than five (5) years in developing and/or integrating systems.
4. Proven problem solving and technical track record.
5. A Master of Science Degree in an IT related field would be an asset.
