Distinguishing Features of Work

1. Develops a project charter which can be documented within MS Project software.
2. Prepares a plan and processes for conducting TVET needs assessments in the organization.
3. Working with specialists, conducts needs assessments for demand of new TVET endeavors or continuation of TVET projects by engaging appropriate stakeholders.
4. Prepares budgets with cost management plan for projects.
5. Researches and negotiates sources of funding from public, private, corporate and international organizations on behalf of the organization.
6. Coordinates allocated funds by liaising with Corporate Services Division to ensure that funds are being allocated against project budget.
7. Prepares technical reports on for approval by management and for the consideration of the external partners.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent in a science, engineering, business or social sciences field discipline.
2. Certificate in Project Management.
3. At least three (3) years’ experience in a project or programme coordinating environment is necessary.
