GROUP HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
The TCL Group is a premier Caribbean organization engaged in the manufacture of cement and related products and operating in six locations in the Caribbean. The TCL Group prides itself as being on the cutting edge of technology and at the forefront of best practice in all its function disciplines.
The Group is seeking to recruit an experienced and talented individual to lead its Group’s Human Resources function located at its Corporate Office, Claxton Bay, Trinidad. The successful Candidate will be responsible for charting and implementing Group HR strategy consistent with the Group’s business objectives.
This position is considered to be senior executive and will report to the Group CEO. Additionally, the position will be responsible for the following:
- Corporate oversight for ensuring the implementation of Group HR policies and the execution of Group HR strategies
- Executive Talent Attraction and Retention
- Executive Compensation
- Senior Managerial Succession Planning
- Ensuring Group-wide compliance with labour laws and other statutory requirements
- Advising Subsidiary HR Managers on industrial relations matters and collective bargaining issues.
The Candidate will be required to travel extensively within the Caribbean region and display Cultural Sensitivity and Diversity Management Skills.
The ideal Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or related subject area and posses a minimum of ten years experience in progressive HR practice spanning the Caribbean region.
The Candidate should possess strong people skills, effective oral and written communication competencies and a proven track record of delivering HR services to Executives and Senior Management.
