ACCOUNTING MANAGER BALANCE SHEET
JOB SUMMARY
- To provide leadership for the oversee all activities of the Unit.
- To evaluate the accurate preparation and maintenance of the accounts and financial statements of the company within the specified submission deadlines.
- To report on a comparative basis, actual expenditure against plan to allow for analysis and decision-making
- Assist in the establishment of appropriate policies and guidelines for effective management of the Unit.
- Ensure the management of the company’s Fixed Assets.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
- Full Accounting qualification – ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CMA
- At least (5) years experience in a accounting environment with significant experience in the preparation of financial statement accounts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Proficiency and expertise in financial reporting methods
- Proficient in the use of appropriate computer application programmes, excellent spreadsheet analysis capability, specifically SAP.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE:
- well motivated, takes initiative and be a self-starter.
- Able to work well as a contributing member of a high performance team.
