MANAGER ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATION
JOB SUMMARY
- To provide leadership for and oversee all activities of the Payable Unit.
- To ensure effective performance of payable activities, including vendor management, so that financial resource needs are planned for, and proper information is available for management decision-making.
- Ensure there are appropriate policies and guidelines for the effective management of the Unit
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Full accounting qualification – ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CMA
- At least (5) years experience in an accounting environment with significant experience in the preparation of financial statements and accounts.
- Extensive knowledge of financial regulatory and professional requirements
- Proficient in the use of appropriate computer application programmes, excellent spreadsheet analysis capability.
- Experience in SAP would be an asset
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST:
- Be well motivated, takes initiative and be a self-starter.
- Be able to work well as a contributing member of a high performance team.
- Have excellent analytical capability, and be able to make comparisons and draw conclusions.
