SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for preparation of statutory financial statements and ensures compliance with IFRS and to provide accurate, timely and reliable financial information to the Finance Reporting Manager and Financial Controller in relation to departmental expenditure and cash flow forecasting.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepares statutory financial statements and ensures compliance with IFRS.
• Prepares timely and accurate financial information for inclusion in monthly financial accounts, analyzes expenditure, maintains monthly working papers; verifies, approves and posts entries to General Ledger.
• Assists in annual budget exercise, internal and external audits.
• Conducts and manages project work on various areas of the Finance Department including systems implementation, validation of report and development of internal controls.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Accountant with at least 3-5 years post qualification experience.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proven strong analytical and time management skills.
