DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement Human Resource policies, practices and procedures to meet the organization’s business needs.
• Assist with the Strategic Planning of the organization
• Oversee the Recruitment and Selection process for permanent and contract employees.
• Oversee the Performance Evaluation System
• Assess the training needs of employees and recommend training and development activities for employees.
• Liaise with Managers, Supervisors, Foremen regarding disciplinary issues, etc…
• Handle and provide support to Supervisors and Managers regarding IR issues.
• Implement and maintain an Employee Information System.
• Provide supervision and guidance to administrative staff.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management (or relevant field)
• At least five (5) years experience in Human Resources.
• At least three (3) years supervisory experience
• Computer literate – Microsoft Windows and HR Software
• Knowledge of Labour Laws etc will be an asset.
