OPERATIONS MANAGER
JOB SCOPE: This is an executive management function with accountability from departments, inclusive of staff and the company’s plant and equipment. The candidate would need a strong IT background, be flexible with work hours, take responsibility for KPI metrics of the organization and have excellent leading and strategic management skills. The position reports to the General Manager.
THE SPAN OF OPERATIONS FOR THE ORGANIZATION INCLUDES:
- A coordinating function for the entire production processes transcending departmental lines
- Direct liaison with Production, Maintenance, Distribution
- Planning, analysis, process flow and management accounting
Day-to-day job matters arising in this environment span quality management, health and safety, equipment and material supplier interaction, purchasing, production information systems, equipment maintenance and plant management.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Suitable candidate may have:
- Industrial Engienering B.Sc.
- Operations Management Professionals B.Sc. Maths, BA Management
- Eight (8) years at senior management level
