ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To enhance customer relationships by providing effective oversight and management of prospects and clients of Gulf Insurance Limited.
- Ensure consistent and courteous contact with each client to manage all aspects of placing Insurance.
- Development of new business and renewal strategies, including preparing specifications, submission material, securing, underwriting information and analyzing existing coverage as well as making recommendations to clients.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products and current marketplace for account placement including, coverage enhancements, price negotiation and alternative risk services.
- Provide general assistance and all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Underwriting Manager or Chief Technical Officer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 5 years General Insurance Underwriting and Sales experience.
- ACII, Dip CTI and suitable experience as an Account Executive.
- Proficiency in insurance coverage with good work knowledge of complex issues and markets.
- Computer Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, customer relationship management skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
- Posses a valid driver’s license and can travel to visit clients and attend various Industry functions as required.
- Knowledge of South and Central districts will be an asset.
